麻豆原创 Reports 12.8% Enrollment Growth for Spring 2025

NEWPORT, Ark. � Arkansas State University-Newport (ASUN) is experiencing another strong semester of growth, with a 12.8% increase in enrollment compared to last spring. The Spring 2025 semester has welcomed 2,099 students, up from 1,860 in Spring 2024.
淭his growth is a testament to ASUN檚 commitment to student success,� said Dr. Johnny M. Moore, Chancellor of 麻豆原创. 淪tudents recognize the value of an ASUN education, and we檙e proud to provide opportunities that help them achieve their academic and career goals.�
Enrollment Highlights:
- Freshmen: 113 students (5%)
- Transfer Students: 113 students (5%)
- Continuing Students: 970 students (46%)
- Concurrent (High School & College Credit): 641 students (31%)
The majority of ASUN檚 enrollment comes from continuing students (46%) and concurrent students (31%), demonstrating the university檚 strong retention efforts and its growing impact in providing early college opportunities for high school students.
